The servo-controlled Sheet Feed System consists of a destacker, transfer station, squaring station, sheet alignment station, press in-feed station and a press out-feed station. They are integrated into one independently controlled unit. The feed will handle press speeds up to 125 strokes per minute. The feed unit receives a scrolled or unscrolled sheet from the destacker and it is then indexed forward into the die area. Between strokes of the press the sheet is indexed laterally in the press for the next stroke of the press. After the next stroke it is then indexed forward in the die area and the same process is repeated until the sheet has been completely punched out and ejected from the out-feed rolls. |
